Masha attended the latest Shanghai TV Festival and the opening ceremony of the Film Festival which were held on June 15 and 16 respectively in Shanghai.

Really want to catch this 海蛍 (Umi Hotaru) (Sea Firefly) (Vargula hilgendorfii) that only lives and appears in the southern part of Japan sea. It can only inhabit and survive in the shallow part of unpolluted sea water.
That brilliant deep blue fluorescent light it produces is so attractive! Just like "firefly" lives in the sea. How come a small animal with only 3 millimetres long can release so beautiful blue-colored light!

Start of Daikanshasai 11 (2011) and a fruitful tour "The Live Bang" ended on November

Time flies! Daikanshasai 11 will launch soon! The concerts will be held on Dec 24, 25, 28, 30 and 31 at Pacifico Yokohama. This time Masha will only sing those songs from his past albums and not those popular songs from his albums and singles. I am so delighted for his concert theme. What a good idea, Masha! Actually, many songs from his past albums and singles are good. These unpopular songs are pleasing to the ears! I really want to go to Japan hearing his concerts. But I can't afford to pay the fees for the whole trip at this moment!!! It's so inconvenient to get one concert ticket for a foreigner! What a pity!

Below are the handmade presents and Christmas cards that I received from the students I taught last year. Love them, too! There's a story about that little handmade pink paper star. It was made by that naughty student who has ADHD disease. After he made it, he put it into my handbag without saying a word and left. Perhaps that's his way to say "thank you or love you". I don't know but I treasure it even he made me angry all the times.

My Students

This semester will end soon. I get used to teaching in the current school. It's totally a brand new try to me! My current students are at the age of around 11 years old. They are much older than last year ones. However, their academic results are really not too good, especially English. Last year my students who are at the age of 9 years old have good English and Mathematics standard as compared to them. @@
I am really disappointed by their learning attitude and English standard. How come they don't know some general vocabulary and Grammer, especially tenses! They are supposed to learn it when they were at P.3 or P.4. I used different ways to induce them studying hard so as to improve and try to meet the "basic standard".
Still failure! @@
Most of them do not have the intention to improve. They don't mind to have "a fail grade" in their students' reports! They just want you to teach them how to fill in the blanks of their homeworks.
I am furious and disappointed for their learning attitude. Only Joe and Ada are different! They are smart, clever and willing to try and upgrade their standard.

Globe, Environment, Rainforest, Civilized World, Tribes & Me

Yesterday I watched a documentary about the tribes living in Amazon rainforest. I kept sighing after watching it. Perhaps those tribes will disappear soon if people living in civilized world continues to cut the trees in Amazon rainforest. Without enough trees to grasp the fertilized soil, the soil will be gradually washed by rain and wind. Those soil with plenty nutriment continuously flows to the rivers. Those tribes totally rely on rivers. Those people catch and eat fishes to get enough protein. However, those soil with plenty nutriment is now contaminated the rivers there. The rivers used to be neutral but now it turns to acidic. This directly affects their live.
A professor and a documentary crew are now helping them to purchase the upper land. Upper land is the origin of the river. When the crew interviewed the professor and the tribe leaders, that male tribe leader cried in front of the camera! He worries about the tribes and their next generation. How they can survive in this Amazon forest! He also wanted to convey a message to people living in civil world.
PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT AND THOSE TRIBES LIVING IN RURAL PART OF THE WORLD!
I love watching documentary produced by NHK, BBC and France TV stations. Among all documentary programs I watched, "South Pacific" is the best. Hope more documentary directors will film programs spreading above message.

Miss my students

The last school term has just ended.
Summer holiday has started.
Miss my students (including those naughty, lazy and talent students) so much! I even had a dream about them last night. @@
Nearly all my students have a caring heart. When I had serious cough, several students were worried about my health. Among them, Alan was concerned for my health the most. Alan is a boy with a pair of big and beautiful eyes. He is smart and clever but very naughty!
Jacky's handwriting is as bad as Fukuyama Masaharu (Masha). I had to remind him beware of his handwriting nearly every lesson. Both Jacky and Tommy are smart boys with good results in English. Tommy can give unique comments on an issue or somebody. His comment always suprised me. Both Candy and CiCi are clever, helpful, hardworking little girls. They all are my lovely students.
In the last lesson of this school term, I tried to allocate time to talk to them respectively. I tried to guide them what they should do during the coming summer holiday.
Some should try to revise all English and Mathematics materials that they learned in this academic year. Some can further enhance their knowledge by borrowing and reading more books or novels from the library. Some should avoid spending most of their time on TV programs and internet.
Nearly all of their final school term results are good.
May Jesus Christ bless their growth, study, health and their future.
Pray for them!

The last school term has just ended.
Summer holiday has started.
Miss my students (including those naughty, lazy and talent students) so much! I even had a dream about them last night. @@
Nearly all my students have a caring heart. When I had serious cough, several students were worried about my health. Among them, Alan was concerned for my health the most. Alan is a boy with a pair of big and beautiful eyes. He is smart and clever but very naughty!
Jacky's handwriting is as bad as Fukuyama Masaharu (Masha). I had to remind him beware of his handwriting nearly every lesson. Both Jacky and Tommy are smart boys with good results in English. Tommy can give unique comments on an issue or somebody. His comment always suprised me. Both Candy and CiCi are clever, helpful, hardworking little girls. They all are my lovely students.
In the last lesson of this school term, I tried to allocate time to talk to them respectively. I tried to guide them what they should do during the coming summer holiday.
Some should try to revise all English and Mathematics materials that they learned in this academic year. Some can further enhance their knowledge by borrowing and reading more books or novels from the library. Some should avoid spending most of their time on TV programs and internet.
Nearly all of their final school term results are good.
May Jesus Christ bless their growth, study, health and their future.
Pray for them!

Fukuyama Masaharu was awarded an Individual Prize at "Television Section" in the "48th Galaxy Prize" ("第48回ギャラクシー賞")
『第48回ギャラクシー賞』の「テレビ部門」で個人賞を受賞した福山雅治

Congratulations, Masha for granting this Individual Prize in the 48th Galaxy Prize. His effort and backbreaking working in Ryomaden filming has been recognized.
In his thankful speech, Masha expressed his thankfulness of successful acting as Ryoma to Kodama san. Kodama san passed away in mid of May. During the filming of Ryomaden, Kodama san always encouraged and suggested Masha how to act better.
Guess Kodama san now in heaven must be glad that Masha has started another milestone of his career in acting.

As Masha said, hope he will be awarded another Music award in the future Galaxy Prize soon!

SHARING about my recovery from cough and my relatonship with my students
Since early February, I had suffered fever, flu, throat pain and severe cough. I had the illness for more than two months! After recovering from the fever, flu and throat pain, the cough was so serious in the past two months. I could hardly fall to sleep normally at night even my doctor granted me some specific pills for intaking before sleeping. I felt extremely tired!
My students were worried about my health since I did cough fiercely during the lesson! But one of them (Alan) did ask me kindly, "Miss, are you Okay?" At that time, I felt the love, warmth and kindness of my students. But one student, Jacky asked me, "Miss, please put my homeworks on the floor otherwise I am afraid I will be infected!!" <sigh>
What a big contradiction of my dearest students' response! In my personal stand, I love Alan's consideration and act but I kept on laughing (even now) when I thought of how Jacky behaved! Alan is a clever and naughty boy but love to share and talk to me even after class! He has a pair of big and beautiful eyes!
The boys in my class love to share with me about their academic results, feelings and relationship with others, family issues, happiness and sadness in the break. Even I ask them to stop for awhile and let the girls to share their feelings, they will keep on saying!!!!! I have to yell and ask them to stop. So I can talk to the girls in my class!
I don't know the reasons behind why those boys love to draw my attention and talk to me! Sometimes the girls and I want to have a seperate class!
For my serious cough, I felt so bad during the past two months! The weather kept changing from cold to hot and then back to cold! My pharynx could not suit these changes. My cough is so serious! Once i did not wear mask when attending worship in church and friends' gathering three weeks ago, I was infected by flu again. Then serious cough reappeared!
I felt so tired. I worried about my health. I kept praying for my health! My parents worried about my health too!
After doing an x-ray checking, my doctor said that my lung is clear. After intaking appropriate medicine and following my doctor's advice (having sufficient rest, beware of redecoration, emotion, etc..), I gradually recovered after suffering from cough for two months!
Thanks God for listening my prayer! *only some grumble for suffering two months*

Fukuyama Masaharu ~ The Best Bang (Asia Edition) album promotion

A huge signboard advertises and promotes Fukuyama Masaharu's album ~ "The Best Bang". This huge signboard with recent Fukuyama Masaharu photo is displayed in one of the busy district in my home town. Its appearance delights me after reading news about Japan earthquake, tsunami and radiation leakage.
I sincerely hope that I can go to Japan to watch Fukuyama Masaharu's concert in the near future. I want to see an energetic, happy, healthy Fukuyama Masaharu in his shows.

My naughty student ~ Part 5

Remember that naughty student!
He has an illness named "Attention Deficit" & "Hyperactivity Disorder". His doctor asked him to intake one tablet every morning so as to control his behaviour. But he is still out of control in the lesson!
Gosh! Today he made me furious! He not only did not come to my class, but also hide in the so-called "penalty room". Hence, no one can find him! Then, one of my students saw him hanging around in the playground and played with other students.
After a short interview with his mom and him together with the social worker, he still insisted that he was right. He even blamed me and argued that many knowledge I taught him was wrong. I was rage!
As I mentioned before, I spent lots of time on him to guide, encourage and persuade him. But it seems that my past effort is useless! His attitude did not change!
I am disappointed and furious! He is wasting my time and affecting other students' learning!
Acutally, I wanted to introduce my role model "Fukuyama Masaharu" childhood story, his successful story and his current status in the entertainment industry to him so as to encourage him. Sometimes I think he is similiar to Fukuyama Masaharu's childhood.
However, I guess it does not work! ~_~

My sharing of Japan natural catastrophe and threat of radiation leakage

From yesterday local TV news clip, many elderly people with chronic disease in the devastated disastrous zone are shortage of medicine. Some even died because they lack of sufficient food, clean water, nutrition and were infected. Not only elderly people, but also the children suffer and face the same situation. They do not have blankets, clothes and heaters to keep warmth in the government shelter centres.
Besides the treat of cold weather, insufficient food and clean water, aftershocks and tsunami, radiation leakage is also critical to the victims, Japanese and its surrounding countries. China, Russia, United States of America, France and other countries have desperately arranged their citizens to leave Japan. One can imagine the situation is critical. My tribute to the technicians, who are now retaining in the nuclear plant, try to cool down the nuclear rods' temperature.
Just as Fukuyama Masaharu said:
"Facing this situation which is beyond our imagination.
I sincerely admire the people who undertake the rescue and restoration job at the diaster area.
How the victims helping each other and their caring heart touches me.
Hope more people will be saved. I eager to believe the power of people and their heart."
Earlier, the International Atomic Energy Agency said the situation at the nuclear plant was serious but hadn't worsened significantly in the past 24 hours. I am glad to hear this news.
When I watched the clips about the old and the children, my eyes are with tears ... I sincerely hope that the situation will be stable.
Fukuyama Masaharu's safety is also a great worry to me. Fukuyama Masaharu, please protect yourself from radiation. I want to see an energetic, healthy and happy Masha later in his concerts. PRAY FOR YOU, FUKUYAMA MASAHARU!

With this insecure feeling, time passes!
Personally, we can raise fund and donate.
In those unaffected regions, we should save electricity power.
Keep exchanging update information with our friends.

I sincerely admire the people who undertake the rescue and restoration job at the diaster area.

Apart from the thing I can do personally, as an entertainer, my occupation, with the feeling of the consolation and mourning, what can we do now? All of our staff are now discussing this issue.
